Co-founded Pixar in 1986. 2)Charles Babbage: Invented and developed the Difference Engine in 1821. 3)Bill Gates: Developed BASIC for the MITS Altair. Helped in the development of Microsoft's earlier programs such as MS-DOS. Founder of the Microsoft company. 4)Alan Turing: Credited as the founder of computer science. Developed the Turing Machine in 1936. Developed the Turing test. 5)Michael Dell: Started the Dell computer compony. 6) Paul Allen: Co-founder of Microsoft. Left Microsoft in 1983. Helped in the development of early Microsoft products such as MS-DOS. Original owner of TechTV. 7) Robert Metcalfe: Development of Ethernet while at Xerox PARC.
