Lesson-4 Reflection
In Lesson-4, I learned what a MLA format report is and how to make one. This lesson helped me see how I am supposed to type a research report. I learned how to set up an MLA format report, like Headers, Headings, and how to set up the margins in the correct way. I also learned the differences between an academic report and a business report. Lesson 4 continues to help me throughout my school career because it taught me how to use the MLA style report, which is used in a lot of my language essays.

Academic/Business Reports
Writing an Academic Report:
The title, body, and conclusion are the main parts of an academic research report, which also includes a Works Cited page that lists the the infor mation for the sources used to creat ethe report. Set all margins of the page to one inch, double-space your entire report along with the works cited page, indent the first line of each paragraph, include only one space between end punctuation and a new sentence. Create a heading, includes your name, the date, and the name of your class and tacher, at the top left of the page. Center the title of the letter only, but don't bold it. Right-align your last name and the page number in the header of the repor which is located at the top of the page.
Skill builder:
1. Your last name and the page number.
2. So it would be easier to read.
3. The main components of the research paper were the introduction, body, and conclusion. I would have double spaced everything, mad a header, set my margins to 1 inch, and create a heading.
Creating a Business Report:
The purpose of a business report is to present and analyze information. They have three main parts, which are the front matter, body, and back matter. The front matter includes pages like the title page and the table of contents. The body contains the main information of the report. The headings often seperate topics in the body. The end matter contains pages like the end notes page and the bibliography. You can either use footnotes or endnotes to cite the sources you used in the business report.
Skill builder:
1. The front matter, body, and back matter.
2. Use default side and bottom margins. Leave an appropriate 2-inch top margin on select pages, including the first page of the report and the table of contents, Endnote , and bibliography pages. Use headers and footers to display the page numbers, the name of the report, the date, and other information. The title page should not display any header or footer information.
3. The population of the neighborhood, how many CD stores are around that neighborhood, and how many people buy CD's in the neighborhood.

Business and Personal Business Letters
Both business and personal business letters use a block style format because or the organized look and it is easier to read.In block format, all the lines are left alligned. The body of the letter is a 1.15pt spacing, and a 10 pt. paragraph spacing. 2" margin at the top aswell as 1" margin for the sides and bottom. Personal business letters do not use letterheads, but business letters do, and all the personal information is put in at the bottom of the letter in a personal business letter.
1. Block style format is where all the lines in the letter are left allinged.
2. Because it is a professional business letter that customers can immediatly identify.
3.The personal business letter does not use a letterhead and puts all of the personal information at the bottom of the letter, but the business does have a letterhead and it post the personal information at the top of the letter. The business letter is made up to be immediatly identify the letter, and personal is made for someone to communicate to somone in a not so formal way.

Lesson 2 Tables
A table is a type of organized writing in micrsoft word. You can use tables in something like a schedule, or a plan to help you see how to better manage your time. Box tables are made with lines surrounding the rows and columns, and open tables are without those lines. To vertically and horizontally center a table, you go to page layout and go into the margins. Then you go to the layout tab in margins and select center under the vertically align section. The most important keys used in tables are the tap key and the arrows.

Internet: Can you speak the language?
ISP and URL went phishing online and found a cookie, so they downloaded an anti-virus to fight browser the turtle. They planed to cache a host of hackers to get a refreshed world wide web without cybercrime, but their bandwidth failed and their wi-fi crashed into a blog. They used a hyperlink to pull their wifi out of the blog and set out on a search for internet god 'Shareware', but the hackers found them first and ran them over with a trojan horse virus.

Where does the time go?
Most of my time is spent towards sleeping, school, socializin, television, texting, and taking care of my animals. At the end of the week i dont really have time for anything else. What I should include more time into studying and less into socializing, television, etc. Other elements I need to include in my time is studying and, although I dont really need more time for this, spending more time with friends.

Ergonomics
Ergonomics is a healthy workstation. The reason it is so important is because it can cause injuries such as, carpal tunnel, back pains, and arm pain. Billions of dollars were spent on workers compensation because so many people have unhealthy workstations. The best position for your chair is a comfortable, like slouching or a reclined, position so that your back is resting easy, and your feet need to be resting on the ground. The best position for the key board is a negative slope, or below desk level. Your mouse needs to be next to your keyboard. The computer moniter needs to be as far away as possible as long as you can still see. Lighting doesnt need to be too dim because it can cause neck, back, and eye strain and also cause headaches. Movement is the most important activity because if you don't it can cause bad posture, stiffness, and other injuries because not moving is the worst thing for your body.
