Lesson 2 Tables

A table is a type of organized writing in micrsoft word. You can use tables in something like a schedule, or a plan to help you see how to better manage your time. Box tables are made with lines surrounding the rows and columns, and open tables are without those lines. To vertically and horizontally center a table, you go to page layout and go into the margins. Then you go to the layout tab in margins and select center under the vertically align section. The most important keys used in tables are the tap key and the arrows.
